- She moved to Northern Arizona in 2003 and worked for 3TV as one of their Bureau Reporters before moving to a place called the Valley of the Sun where she joined the Good Morning Arizona team as host and reporter. In addition to this position, she was also hired as one of the anchors of the weekend show, Good Day Arizona.
- During her initial run on Good Morning Arizona, she covered many high-profile stories that included the Lewis Complex prison standoff, which lasted 15 days, and the arrest of the Serial Shooters and Baseline Killer.
- In 2009, Fierro left Good Morning Arizona and joined the Fox5 station in Las Vegas where she worked for six years as an anchor.

Channels 3 & 5 have the most beautiful women reporters than any other station. And, the men are quite nice as well. They all do a great job!! Love watching!!!

Was so curious about Olivia Fierro, I just moved back to the Phoenix area. I believe that I used to see her on an Indianapolis station not too long ago. Wondering how that could be, nobody looks like Olivia with those dimples and smile !!
